Kubica Crashes Out Of Taormina Rally

Renault F1 driver for next year Robert Kubica has suffered a crash in the DP Autosport prepared R3 Clio from the Rally Taormina-Messina in Italy, according to the official results service. The Pole made a small mistake on SS3 and crashed out of the event. He had been lying in a very impressive 8th place after the short first day and was looking forward to getting some good experience from this event ahead of the upcoming Rallye du Var. Kubica was also keen on learning to drive to pace notes and competing for longer periods behind the wheel than he normally does in F1.
